Day 1 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Arrive Cairns:

Day 1 Arrive in Cairns and pick up your vehicle before spending the rest of the day exploring the local highlights Cairns has to offer such as the amazing Wildlife Dome on the roof of the Sofitel casino,The Tropical Zoo and the beautiful Flecker Botanic Gardens. The Cairns Esplanade is the city's main attraction with a lovely oceanfront promenade, saltwater swimming lagoon and beach. You'll find numerous restaurants, bars and hotels lining the Esplanade...all offering beautiful waterfront views.

Day 2 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Cairns to Daintree National Park

Day 2 Travel the 145 km from Cairns to The Daintree National Park along the Captain Cook Hwy, with a detour to the popular rainforest skyrail and Kuranda for the tourist markets and butterfly sanctuary. Along the way stop at sensational Port Douglas for lunch at one of the exquisite eateries before venturing into the spectacular tropical delights of the beautiful Daintree by vehicle ferry. Visit the Daintree Discovery Centre and enjoy fabulous views from the 23 metre high canopy tower. Take a river cruise and enjoy some croc spotting before spending the evening.

Day 3 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Daintree to Atherton

Day 3 has you heading south to the Atherton Tablelands. As you head south take time to visit the remaining attractions within the Daintree National Park including famous Mossman Gorge. Travel South stopping at Mareeba for a locally grown espresso coffee at one of the many cafes. Continue your journey towards the town of Atherton with a detour to Lake Tinaroo and Tinaroo Falls.

Day 4 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Atherton to Mission Beach

Day 4 is a facinating day exploring the stunning attractions of the Atherton Tablelands on the way to beautiful Mission Beach. Along the way visit the natural attractions including spectacular trees, beautiful waterfalls, crater lakes and some amazing rock formations. Head off down the range towards Innisfail, taking a break at Millaa Millaa Falls on the way. Next stop is famous Mission Beach with over 14 kilometres of magnificent golden sandy beaches, you'll be spoilt for choice as you laze away the rest of the day in paradise. In many places, the rainforest literally fringes the golden beach. Your Travel pack includes specific information & recommendations so you can tailor your day to suit your specific interests.

Day 5 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Mission Beach to Cairns

From Mission Beach start travelling back towards Cairns stopping off at attractions of interest before entering the magnificent waterfalls and swimming holes of Josephine Falls. Stop at one of the many pubs at Gordonvale (where the first cane toads were released) for an afternoon snack before returning your vehicle to the depot in Cairns.
